About Us
Parents AT Home was formed in 2000 as an organization offering a support network for
parents choosing to stay at home full or part time to raise their children. With an enthusiastic reception from the
community and a robust growth in membership, our chapter has been a gratifying
success.
Our
monthly calendars are tailored to the season and suggestions from our
membership. We plan field trips to local attractions. Families are invited to
outings in local parks, craft parties, swimming, lunches at kid-friendly
restaurants, holiday parties, and our monthly socials. We also organize
children’s playgroups and sponsor educational activities. Our evening business meetings bring the
membership together for interesting speakers.
And, our newsletter, email loop and website is a way for us to share
valuable information.
